A Mother’s Words

When asked to describe the impact camp had on their children, here are a few of the responses from their moms.

“Catalyst.” “Blessed.” “Enjoyable.” “Humbled.” “Returned.”

Each word carries weight. Each one tells a story of change. They reflect something powerful, inspiring, and deeply encouraging. They remind us how important the mission of LifeCampUSA truly is.

At camp, these young men and women find more than adventure. They find mentors who walk alongside them, offering purposeful direction, wisdom, and genuine care. And in that space, something happens…healing, confidence, and hope take root. Do you know a family with a child that needs the camp experience?

A Mentor’s Story

LifeCamp wouldn’t be the same without the amazing mentors who give so much of themselves. They invest in our campers not only during their time at camp, but through lasting relationships that continue throughout the year. Here is what one of our Uncles, a mentor, had to say about his role serving at LifeCamp.

I’m at a point in my life that I want to do something that I know matters. I want to spend my time on something truly meaningful and valuable. Getting to interact with these boys-to teach them about Jesus, about what it means to be a man, and about what it means to follow God-that is truly meaningful. It’s one of the most life-giving things I’ve done.”

Have you felt God nudging you to mentor youth? You are encouraged to apply to be a mentor with LifeCampUSA. The blessing is beyond anything you can imagine. If you want to talk more about it, send an email to David Sigmon, Director of LifeCare.

LifeCamp 2026 Updates

We are so excited to be able to be hosting nine LifeCamps this summer, spanning the United States from Montana and Colorado, to South Dakota and Wisconsin! As we continue to fill those camper spots and place our mentors, will you pray with us? God knows the young men and women that would benefit from attending camp – to grow, learn and heal. Please pray that we are connected to them.

Secondly, do you know a mom of a middle schooler whose dad died in service of our country? We still have room for first year campers and would love to get connected.

Together let’s find those hurting children and give them hope! Share the Camper Application link or Email Faith

LifeCampUSA in the News

LifeCampUSA has been in the News recently! You are encouraged to read, watch or listen to any or all of the following!

Night of Honor

In the days leading up to Memorial Day weekend, LifeCampUSA will host its annual Night of Honor in Milwaukee, La Crosse, Richmond, and Dallas. These gatherings bring together community leaders, veterans, law enforcement, first responders, and supporters to honor the service and sacrifice of the men and women who have given so much for our country.

The Night of Honor is a time to honor, reflect, remember, and stand together in support of these families, while advancing the mission of LifeCampUSA.

Prayer

Finally, thank you for choosing to go on mission with LifeCampUSA through your time, your talents, your resources and your prayers.  God is on the move and we are grateful you are a part of what He’s doing! Will you join us in fervent prayer for connecting us to the families, the moms and the young men and women who need LifeCampUSA? God’s favorite form of communication is “knee mail,” so let’s overwhelm him with our battle cries!

Mark and Jane Neumann,
